Commanding Officers' Scholarship Fund

We ask that anyone visiting this page assist us with whatever donation they can make to the following scholarship funds.  Please keep in mind that no donation is too little.

Commanding Officers' Fund:  Our youth leaders work tirelessly with little to no compensation for their volunteered services.  The program does not receive funding from any local, state, or federal agency.  Commanding Officers volunteer their time to make a proven impact in the inner-cities of Los Angeles County, where community leaders acknowledge problems associated with these communities like drugs, gangs, school drop out rates, teenage pregnancies, and more.  However, in our program, it is expected that, from the time our new recruits enter the basic training phase to their thirteen week completion, their grade point average will improve by one full point.  This is not accomplished without the positive roll-models of our commanding officers.  We want to keep their education alive, so they can continue to make this impact.  This scholarship fund, which started drawing donations on 12 March 2008, will go toward leaders who are not going to or expected to, but who are contributing their knowledge to benefit their communities.  Give today and keep tune to where your dollars are making a difference.
