Boot Camp is a shock for all involved!  Parents and youths must understand this first hand before enrolling in the Los Angeles Young Marines Inc.  Although this introductory phase to our program instills character and builds leadership skills, it can be dramatizing for parents and youths if they are not prepared for it.  Therefore it is highly recommended that both recruits and parents understand that our boot camp is modeled after the Marines Corps boot camp and  strictly regiments discipline through harsh verbal and physical training directed by former military personnel.
